What to Expect When Scheduling an Evaluation?

Our evaluation process includes:

Initial Visit

Upon calling our company, we will collect the necessary information and schedule your free evaluation. You will be given a 1.5-hour arrival time frame. Our assigned qualified evaluator will call you before they are on the way, with notice of the exact arrival time for your convenience. Once on-site, you will be greeted and we discuss the reason for the visit with the inspector. Once your concerns have been heard, the inspector will begin evaluating the exterior of the property.

Evaluation & Assessment

The evaluator will diagram the house to scale utilizing a tablet equipped with CAD-like software. While diagraming, we will mark electrical, water, and gas lines, as well as HVAC units and pool equipment. We also look for signs of foundation issues and movement. Cracks and separations are noted on the diagram and pictures are taken.

We look to identify contributing factors such as improper grading and drainage, tree roots, and other issues that could be causing the uneven leveling. We will then move forward in setting up a zip level. This machine will take elevation readings of the foundation, and these data points are put into our software for a thorough digital picture.

We evaluate sheetrock cracks, unlevel doors and framing, and other signs of foundation movement. Our team will then evaluate the readings to determine if your situation is within engineering guidelines and tolerances allowed. 

Present Estimate

If we see a need for repairs, we will create a repair plan and explain everything in detail to you. We also provide a copy of the diagram with notations, readings, and pictures along with the itemized proposal for the scope of work. All pier work comes with our lifetime transferable warranty.
